Digital Surge Tester KT- 905 D
The Model KT-905D is the
digital tester offering by the Kast Engineering Company Ltd. This instrument is
designed to maximize testing capabilities in a lightweight, sturdy format.
Additional testing capabilities have been added to the tester, to make it a more
comprehensive tool in manufacturing companies. As with the other digital
testers, the 905D high precision capabilities allows data collection in the
shop or the field. The result can then be printed by connecting to the
computer.
Surge tester detects faults
in turn-to-turn, layer-to-layer and phase-to-phase insulation pinhole, weakness
against impulse. Using advance analog-to-digital conversion hardware, the
series captures the surge test waveform, remembers it, and displays
it.
Facts Regarding
Calibrating Testers:
All KAST Surge Testers
display the waveform of the product on the LCD panel. All KAST products are
calibrated to be the actual voltage that is applied across the test coils. Our
customers can actually define whether the product under test to be good or bad
as displays on the LCD panel.
